Wonder of the Seas · Aqua Theatre
Effectors II: Frozen in Time — technically brilliant, emotionally distant
A sequel to a show that was already pushing the limits of what a pool stage can hold. The technology is impressive; the storytelling still plays second fiddle.

1887: A Journey in Time — the AquaDome just raised the bar
Royal Caribbean's newest venue does something the old AquaTheater never could. Enclosed, intimate, and with production values that feel genuinely theatrical.

Cats — better than it has any right to be aboard a ship
The cruising version of Cats trims the runtime, keeps the iconic numbers, and benefits enormously from a tight audience in a venue that actually focuses your attention. Not a replacement for Broadway, but a decent sea day companion.

Harmony of the Seas · Studio B Ice Rink
Ice Games — skip it unless you have nothing else scheduled
A daytime show that was clearly designed to fill a slot. The skating is technically fine, the concept is confusing, and the audience was more interested in their phones. Worth half a star for the venue alone.

Grease — a crowd-pleaser that knows its audience
Grease never fails at sea. The cast was energetic, the ship's older demographic was singing along by the second act, and the pacing was tighter than expected. Good fun on a sea day.

What a sea day actually looks like when you plan it right
No port stop, full day at sea, and somehow the most satisfying day of the cruise. Notes on pacing, show timing, and why the pool deck isn't the move after 10am.
